Dony has a new gardening project he's been working on....well, actually a garden preservation hobby. After days of hard work in planting our families beautiful garden over the summer, we soon discovered the neighborhood vermin (the ones with a good PR...) dug up and consumed our seeds. The seeds they didn't want--bell peppers, squash etc, they ate soon after the plants began to grow. What type of vermin, you ask? Squirrels! Our tree-filled neighborhood is infested with them, and they ate every last Pear from our three pear trees, so in an effort to preserve a measure of our food production, Dony's new hobby is hunting. The kids all get excited to see his latest kill. Here's a photo of the young onlookers at a recent grave-side service.
