Use this direct link to watch Shane perform in the Spelling Bee. If you want to skip to see the final rounds (they go pretty quickly) start at round 4, or 7. Shane had his name in the newspaper and picture taken with the District Superintendent. This was his 3rd year competing at this level (very rare!!!--we do not know any other kids who have even gone twice!) If he had won, the next level Bee is all it takes to move on to the National Spelling Bee in Washington D.C.
